Buffy glanced at the two of them with undisguised hatred. "God, him...with her..." Willow sipped her cocoa. "Makes you sick, doesn't it?" "Hey, B," Faith said, as she approached the table. "Hey, isn't that the jerk I embarrassed at Homecoming?" "Which we both happened to miss," Buffy said in an anger tinged voice, staring at the couple making out in the corner. "Want me to rough him up?" Faith suggested, a smile on her face. "Actually, I have a better idea," Willow said. "Maybe it'll get my mind off of Oz for a bit." *** The three girls gathered in the chemistry lab. "Whoa. I'm getting fits of déjà vu, here," Willow said. "What did Spike do to you in here, anyway?" Faith asked, getting interested. "Well, he hurt Xander and basically scared me. Nothing more," Willow said, getting the ingredients ready. "Now, we need some sort o trigger. Like, if he sees something or hears something..." "How about country music?" Buffy suggested. "I know they'll both be at the Bronze for the Country Night thing." "Perfect," Willow said, beginning the spell. *** The opening of the first country song of the night began, and the three girls were silently waiting, watching Scott and Harmony start their make-out session. Scott looked up, glancing around the Bronze. He had felt a prickly sensation on his neck when the song started. "Scott! What are you doing?" Harmony demanded, looking at him right in the face. "Nothing. I just felt...weird..." he said, leaning back in towards her. [Well I wrote our names a thousand times Just to see yours sitting next to mine Sent you flowers cards unsigned...anonymous] Suddenly, about two or three inches from her mouth, he stopped. "I can't lean down any farther," he said, obviously trying to. "What do you *mean* you can't lean down anymore?" "It's like something's blocking me." [In days to come like days that passed My hearts beats for you, always has Though you know me only as...anonymous] There were muffled giggles coming from Buffy, Willow and Faith. "God, Will. This is good!" Buffy said, trying to keep a straight face. "Anyone have a camcorder?" Faith asked, letting a few laughs slip free. [In dreams at night I carry your books for you And when I rise a flame for you Always to shy to carry the whole thing through] Harmony was getting exasperated. "Look, Scott. I didn't come here to listen to music or watch you make a fool out of yourself. I came here to make Summers jealous. You did too, remember?" "But I *can't* kiss you!" he said loudly, causing people to turn around and stare. "Shut up! Scott, just shut *up!*" [Like the light from that eternal flame Burns for one without a name My love forever will remain...anonymous] Buffy collapsed laughing. "Damn...he wanted to make me jealous? Please...if he wanted to mack on Harmony, that proves he has no taste!" Willow was the quietest of the three, but even she was laughing. "And this will go on all night..." "What will?" Faith asked. "Won't she try to leave?" "Just watch..." [Oh you'll always wonder who it was Who it was It was just...anonymous] Harmony pushed Scott away and tried to stand up. A split second later she was right next to him again. "Get away from me!" she screeched. "I'm trying," he said, standing up and taking a step to his left. Just as Harmony had been pulled back to her seat, so had Scott. "What the hell is going on?!?" Harmony yelled. "Shut up, Harmony!" Scott said right back, resulting in a slap on the face from Harmony. [Well I wrote our names a thousand times Just to see yours sitting next to mine And I sent you flowers card unsigned] By the end of the song, the three main spectators were laughing so hard they could barely speak. After getting themselves together, Faith looked at her cocoa, and muttered in a fake haunting voice, "No one can hear you scream for help. In the night. In the dark." It was enough to send them back into gales of laughter as Scott and Harmony continued to try and get away from each other. "How...how long will this last?" Buffy asked. "Until they...they stop being near county song...songs," Willow said, gripping the table. "Cool," Faith said. "Serves them right."
