Prue Halliwell sipped her cup of coffee. She didn’t look very good. The words sad and sick could describe her look. Today had already started off as one of the worst in her life. She had already called out sick. Phoebe came bouncing into the kitchen looking as happy as ever. Prue didn’t know why she was so happy, and didn’t want to know. It would probably just make her feel worse. Phoebe took two pieces of bread and popped them into the toaster, and then poured herself a glass of milk. She sat and down and took a deep breath. “I love that smell,” was all she said. It wasn’t long until Piper came rushing into the kitchen all ready for work. She had been a busy girl ever since she quit Quake and opened up Mystical Magic, her restaurant. The three sisters had argued over the title, but finally agreed. “Piper, can I come with you to the restaurant to help set up?” Phoebe asked. Piper swallowed, “Yea. And you can waitress. Kathy called out sick. Everyone is calling out sick!” “Someone looks like she is sick,” Phoebe said, directing the statement in Prue’s direction. Prue raised her head. She looked at her sisters. “Oh, I’m fine. It’s just today is not a good day for me.” “Why?” Piper and Phoebe asked in unison. “Andy’s birthday.” Piper pulled her sister into a hug. Prue held her sister tightly. “I know you miss him Prue.” They let go of each other. “I have to go. Pheebs?” “I’m ready.” “Let’s go.” Moments later they were gone and Prue was left alone in the kitchen. She wondered if she would be alone her entire life. The love of her life is dead and the pain is horrible. Prue decided to head up in the attic where she kept keepsakes of stuff. If she could see Andy physically, she would see him through pictures. Prue cried the whole way up the attic. She was just realizing that Andy was really gone and she would never see him again. The pain had just begun. It hurt a lot. Once in the attic, Prue looked through old photos of her and Andy. She cried some more. Why, she thought. Why. A cool breeze blew through the attic and the pages of the Book of Shadows flew wildly. She quickly got up to look where it had stopped. “A Relief Spell. To relieve one’s pain say the following,” Prue said. “Get out of my head Get out of my brain Leave my thoughts Take away the pain” Prue felt like the weight of the world had been removed form her shoulders. She went downstairs.
