***1 WEEK AFTER*** Dawson and Cat came walking up to Pacey hand in hand. They were now officially together. “So, how’s Andie?” Cat asked. “Better. The doctors say she should be able to go home in a few days. She just has to bring down her fever and gather up some more strength,” Pacey replied. He had been at the hospital as much as he could. “That’s good,” Dawson said. He gave Cat a quick kiss and he was off to his next class. Joey stood at the end of the hallway, watching. She had felt like an outsider during all of this. She didn’t like the new girl anymore either. Joey had never seen Dawson so happy before. It tore her apart inside. She turned and walked away. Jack was at the hospital with his sister. He hadn’t told his mom about what had happened. It was too risky. A lot of changes took place over the past week. He had seen a braver side of himself, and it made him feel good. Andie felt better. She knew she was needed and she knew Tim was happy. She hadn’t told anybody about it; she didn’t want them to think she was crazy. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. Jen had looked death in the face once again, but this time she came back victorious. She had been troubled after her grandfather died, but when Andie almost did, she realized how precious life really is. She was going to life at the fullest from this point on. THE END
