Joey hurried as she got ready for her first day of her junior year. The past summer was the worst. Money was tight, since the Ice House burnt down. She was still mad at Dawson for making her get the wire to send her father to prison. She grabbed her bag and ran out the door. Pacey lay in his bed staring at the ceiling. His summer had been pretty good, except one thing in his life was missing. Andie. Since she had left, he felt incomplete. Sure, his dad had been nice to him for once in his life, but it still wasn’t the same thing. He sighed, and decided to head to school. Jack walked down the hallway. It had taken him all summer to remember where everything was in Jen’s house. It felt weird; he was the only McPhee in Capeside. Jen had been super nice, so, it wasn’t that bad. Jen was already for school when Jack walked into the kitchen. “You ready?” she asked. He nodded Dawson closed his laptop. He was working on his current script. This summer had been inspiration; since he was in Philadelphia with his mom. He just needed to cast the lead roles and hopefully have it done by the end of the year. He looked at his window. It was closed and the ladder was gone. He shook his head and went to school.
